Since 1993 I have worked with this band that includes some of Norways most important jazzperformers. Major band events: Vossajazz, 1995. Molde International Jazzfestival and Oris London Jazzfestival 1996. Stavanger and Bergen festivals 1998. Concerts in Paris november 2000. Collaboration with Pat Metheny, Molde 2001. We have collaborated with Knut Riisnæs, Tore Brunborg, Per Jørgensen, Mathias Eick, Jan Eggum, Kenwood Dennard, Maria Joao, Pat Metheny, Mike Stern a.o. We are working on a DVD- production from our highly successful Kiev- concert in 2007 with Mike Stern, the MAGMA-project. In 2009 there is also a major Hamsun- production for Norway and Russia coming up, with trio and different actors.

A new important setting is this trio with Mathisen and legendary Alex Acuna. We have been touring in Norway Spring 2008 and also done several jazzfestivals in August. A new CD with Acuna/Hoff/Mathisen was recorded in July for release in 2009 on Alessa Records, Austria. The trio is highly in demand and we are planning concerts in USA, England, Croatia, Sweden, Norway and Russia in 2009.
